MIPAC (Mandarin Immersion Program Advisory Committee) will be holding a special meeting to discuss the development process of the K-12 Mandarin Curriculum.  Topics to be discussed are:


  • Roles and Responsibilities of the MIP Advisory Committee
  • Open Parent Representative Postition and how to apply
  • Plan of action for Curriculum Development and how parents can help.

Friends of MIP Parent Meeting May 14, 2015 • 6:00-8:00pm
This will be a parent meeting with the FoMIP board, MIPAC members and Mr. Hauser and we be held in a town hall format for parents to ask questions and address concerns about Financials, School of Choice, Middle & High School Plans, as well as any other MIP questions.

Friends of MIP hosted a Financial Report Meeting in the MPR. Friends of MIP 3rd Grade Parent Meeting October 9, 2014 • 5:30 pm
Friends of MIP President Laura Bratt, MIP Advisory Council President Daniel Wong and Principal Scholl discussed decisions regrading funding for the 3rd grade class and the MIP program as a whole. We also discussed the potential of the Better Chinese Pilot Program and various ways to receive FoMIP communication and become more involved.

Friends of MIP 2014/15 Goals and Initiatives September 25, 2014 • 8:00 am
Friends of MIP President Laura Bratt explained the mission of Friends of MIP and the MIP Advisory Council. We then discussed Friends of MIP's goals and initiatives. We also went over our current 2014/15 budget as well as our 2014 fiscal year income. Friends of MIP Vice President, Ami Barrett brought our parents up to date on the happenings of the program. Friends of MIP hosted a Coffee Talk where we discussed the Parent Survey results and how we are using this information to prioritize fundraising and spending. Friends of MIP President, Audrey Shaw and Buu Han presented our findings.

Mandarin Immersion Program Update November 7, 2013 • 8:00 am
