We're thrilled to announce that the first annual Friends of MIP golf tournament will take place at the incredible Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Mission Viejo on Friday, January 31st, 2025. Come celebrate the Lunar New Year in a fun, challenging, four-person scramble tournament benefitting the Friends of MIP organization.
Registration Details
Full Foursome (best deal) - $650 for a full team. Think you and the crew can take home the cup? Lock in your squad and hit the links as a whole group. Registration fee includes tournament entry, gift bag, and post-tournament dinner.
Best Buds - $350 for a pair. Got a solid golf partner, but want to mix it up and meet new people? Register as a duo and we'll pair you and your pal with another twosome to fill out your team. Registration fee includes tournament entry, gift bag, and post-tournament dinner.
Solo Swinger - $200 for a single. If you just want to be in the mix, but don't have a dedicated golf group, we can team you up with other golfers to form a wrecking ball of dream team. Registration fee includes tournament entry, gift bag, and post-tournament dinner.
Dinner Only - $30 per person. Don't feel like playing but want to join your golfer after the round? Join us for a fabulous catered dinner after the event and help us crown the inaugural winners of the tournament and re-live all of the shots that were almost made on the day.
Extras and Add-Ons
Closest to the Pin (KP) Contest - $15 for entry into KP contests on two holes (#5 and #15). Are you accurate with your irons? The golfer with the tee shot closest to the pin on these two par 3 holes will win a nice prize.
Putting Contest - $15 for entry to the pre-tournament putting contest. Warm up your short game and take home an awesome prize in the process.
Mulligans - Give yourself a chance to make up for that chunked chip shot. $15 for one mulligan, or $25 for two.
Super Ticket - $50 for entry into both the KP and putting contests, as well as two mulligans.
Helicopter Ball Drop - $10 per entry. Get your name on a golf ball, and watch as a helicopter drops a bucket of those golf balls on the 18th green. The first ball into the hole, or the closest to it when everything stops moving, takes home a generous portion of the ball drop prize pool.
