MIPAC - Mandarin Immersion Program Advisory Council
What is MIPAC?
The Mandarin Immersion Program Advisory Council is a 10 member panel made up of MIP parents, representatives from the Friends of MIP (FoMIP), MIP teachers, and the school administrators whose charter is to provide thought leadership, guidance, and recommendations for the Mandarin Immersion Program at Bergeson Elementary. MIPAC’s main responsibility is to set program goals and review the effectiveness of the entire program against those goals.
Who is MIPAC?
Our 2016/17 MIPAC is comprised of administration, teacher representation, 2 FoMIP representatives, and 3 parents. Current members are:
Greg Hauser, Jie Gao, Ami Barrett, Juintow Lin, Jennifer Pang, Agustin Del Alamo, and Rosalie Kuhlmann.
How do I get more involved?
You can join MIPAC by becoming a Parent Rep. Terms are for two years and you can nominate yourself or someone else by completing the following form: MIPAC Candidacy Form
All meetings are scheduled on Thursdays at 2pm* in the library. Meeting dates are: 9/8 (noon), 9/15, 9/22, 9/29*, 10/18, 10/27, 11/17, 12/15, 1/12, 2/9, 3/9, 4/20, 5/11,
6/1 meeting cancelled
